I had long wanted a compact digital camera and then move to a more recent and slightly more advanced model of a digital SLR camera.After I had long and hard on the Internet about the pros and cons of different models in its price class informed of 1,000 EUR and read all the reviews and opinions expressed in forums on the cameras, I decided on the Olympus E-510 in Double Zoom Kit.After I used the camera in different situations and tested extensively (outdoors in daytime and night-light, indoor shots with room lighting and candle light, etc.), I can draw a first conclusion: I am with the purchase of the camera fully satisfied andam of the opinion that the price-performance ratio of this camera is quite outstanding.
